LC2009 orientation. An overview of key aspects of 'good' public spaces with examples. Formulation of clear drivers or generators to direct and underpin concept development for the site. Development of physical possibilities and their location within the site. Outline of the curatorial process and a review of roles of the team and invited artists / designers. |

| Workshop 2 Wed 1 April |
Review of the brief by student participants. Introduction of invited artists / designers and presentations of their work and ways of working. Review of processes involved in bringing a work from inception to fruition, including 'hidden' costs. |
| Finalisation of brief by Lubi and planning team. Artist / designer review of brief and all previous student work. Collaboration on-site and in artists' studios to develop concept/s. Blog posts for student comments and discussion. |

| Workshop 3 Wed 13 May |
Presentation of concepts by artists / designers. Review and comments by workshop participants. Discussion on the way forward, including installation. |
| Concept revision according to student comments and curatorial input. Design and documentation of proposed works, including input from engineering and other consultants. Preliminary and final costings. Council and other approvals. Blog posts to keep students informed and encourage discussion. |

Installation of work completed on-site |
| Input from students regarding the public launch of the works. Invitations sent out and media briefed. |

| October 2009 |
Public launch event and celebration of the project completion. |
