Installation Begins

Footings have been dug for Adrian's and Simone's works and concrete has just been poured.

Simone has five very odd looking pieces of pipe coming out of her concrete footings near McLachlan Street. Adrian, on the other hand, has twenty or so steel poles emerging from his footings. The latter just went in today (Wednesday, 2nd September) and there is timber bracing supporting each pole which makes it look quite busy. You can begin to see the different ways that the poles look depending on the vantage point. See what I mean below.

Sebastian's work is all but completed. The cleaning and undercoating of the wall of the underpass was done prior to today. Stencils and painting of the text all happened today. Now all that is left to be done is an anti-graffiti coating which should be happening tomorrow. It looks great and turned quite a few heads.

It looks like our site is unseen no more!

Some pics are below, but I have placed more in a gallery entitled Installation Begins.
